Wearing a metallic grey, three-piece suit, Andrea looked dapper as he led his bride out of the Montenero monastery under a flurry of confetti.

Meanwhile, Veronica looked stunning in her white gown with a fitted jacket.Her hair was worn half-up in relaxed curls and she carried a bouquet of white roses.

Together they looked every inch the besotted newly-weds.

‘Naturally, when two people feel like we do, they want to make it a permanent arrangement,' Bocelli told the Mail last year. 'It will happen from the religious and spiritual point of view but it is a legal matter.’ 

The singer, who was blinded at the age of 12, separated from his first wife Enrica in 2002, the same year he met Veronica, who is also his manager.

A close-knit group, Enrica still lives next door to them on their estate in the Tuscan seaside town of Forte dei Marmi.
